Location
The Sportgästehaus Unterberg is located in the village of Kössen in the Kaiserwinkl region, right at the valley station of the Hochkössen ski area. In winter, the immediate proximity to the slopes means you can head straight into the ski area – without any long walks.
In summer, too, the location impresses with the surrounding mountain landscape, which offers countless opportunities for activities in nature. Hiking and cycling trails start practically on the doorstep and open up impressive views of the Tyrolean Alps.

The house has 120 beds spread over 29 functionally furnished multi-bed rooms. The rooms are practically equipped and offer pleasant accommodation for a comfortable stay in the mountains.

Getting there by public transport
Travel by train to Kufstein or St. Johann in Tirol. From there, there are regular bus connections to Kössen. The most convenient option is to take the bus to the Hüttwirt stop. From there it is just a few minutes' walk to the Sportgästehaus Unterberg.
Getting there by car
By car, take the A8 Munich–Salzburg or the Inntal motorway to Kufstein and then continue via Walchsee to Kössen. In the village, follow the signs to the Hochkössen mountain railways. The sports guesthouse is located at Thurnbichl 55.
