A family holiday in one of the snowiest regions in Austria!
Our Sportgästehaus Unterberg in beautiful Kössen is located at an altitude of about 700 m and is just a few metres from the slopes. So there's no need for a ski bus – instead you can set off straight away in the morning on your skis or snowboard and be the first on the slopes.
The Hochkössen ski area offers 22 kilometres of slopes at altitudes between 650 and 1,750 metres. It is especially good for beginners, but intermediate skiers will also get their money's worth. The nearby ski areas in Fieberbrunn and Waidring are also highly recommended and just a few minutes away by car. There you'll find wide carving slopes and professional snow parks with kickers and rails.
During the holidays, youth camps (ages 10-15) take place in the house at the same time. Children are welcome to join the programme free of charge (except for any admission fees and travel costs). After a great day on the slopes, our camp leaders offer a varied evening programme. Show off your singing skills at SingStar, dance the night away in the house's own disco, take part in a fun show or treat yourselves to a bit of relaxation at the wellness evening.

Travel
You can reach us from Munich and Salzburg in just over an hour each. On the Inntal motorway, take the Oberaudorf exit and turn towards the border crossing. Go through Niederndorf, past the Walchsee, keep straight on, in Kössen go straight over the roundabout, about 1 km later turn right, follow the signs to the Hochkössen mountain railways, drive past the lift on the right, another 100 m up the hill and you're with us. There are plenty of parking spaces for cars at the house. Address: Sportgästehaus Unterberg Thurnbichl 55 6345 Kössen / Austria. There are enough parking spaces right at the house.
