For many children and young people, a trip with us is their first big adventure without their parents. That makes it all the more important to us that every participant feels safe, comfortable and well looked after from the very start. This is why we attach the greatest importance to reliable, warm and professional supervision.

Our camp leaders accompany the children and young people throughout the entire trip and are there for them around the clock. They always have an open ear for questions, wishes or worries and help with the small and big challenges of everyday life on the trip. With their open and warm manner, they quickly create an atmosphere of trust in which everyone feels welcome.

 

Young, committed and responsible camp leaders

 

Our camp leaders are between 18 and 35 years old and bring a great deal of commitment, a sense of responsibility and a love of working with children and young people. Many of them have been accompanying our camps for several years and know exactly what it takes to make a trip an unforgettable experience for everyone.

Whether during group activities, on excursions, at games evenings or simply in between – our camp leaders are always close by and make sure that community, fun and new friendships take centre stage.

 

Thorough preparation and training

 

Good supervision starts long before the actual trip. That is why we hold an extensive training weekend every year. There, our camp leaders are intensively prepared for their tasks and trained in all the important areas.

Topics include the legal basics and duty of supervision, dealing with emergencies, prevention and child protection, group education and how to handle the different situations of everyday camp life. In addition, organisational procedures, safety concepts and dealing with conflicts are discussed and practised together.
