Ski school trip Zillertal Arena

Stay at 1,700 m with the slope right on your doorstep... In winter 2020 we opened our new Jugendgästehaus Gerlosplatte in the Zillertal Arena. Only the name has stayed the same; everything else is brand new.  You can find detailed information about the house under "Accommodation". Skiing places great demands on coordination and fitness. Once the first uncertainties and fears have been overcome, the ski school trip becomes an unforgettable experience for many students. The shared sporting activity in nature also strengthens the class community and awareness of the environment. Experience the special features of a ski school trip in our new Jugendgästehaus Gerlosplatte. The entrance to the Zillertal Arena ski area is right on your doorstep: no ski bus, no waiting, just set off. With its 147 kilometres of slopes (11 km black, 87 km red, 46 km blue, 3 km ski route), the Zillertal Arena is the largest ski area in the Zillertal and, thanks to its altitude of up to 2500 m and the numerous snow-making systems, snow is guaranteed until Easter. There are ski movie and speed check slopes as well as three fun parks in total. The ski area also has the longest valley run in Austria, with 1.930 metres of vertical drop. The beginners' courses can take place in the immediate vicinity of the house. Lunch is eaten together in the house. Afterwards there is a short relaxation break and then the skis go back on. In the evening, after a perfect day of skiing, you can relax in the house's own sauna - with a fantastic view over Hochkrimml and Königsleiten...
