The Familien- und Jugendgästehaus Schönfeld, renovated in 2015, is located at an altitude of 1,750 m on the border between Carinthia and Salzburg. The former 3-star hotel has 260 beds. In addition to some double rooms for teachers/group leaders, the accommodation offers 4-, 6- and 8-bed rooms in cosy timber construction with bunk beds. All rooms have a shower/WC and most have spacious balconies. Thanks to the lift and an accessible bathroom, the Familien- und Jugendgästehaus is wheelchair-accessible. Set against a stunning backdrop, the guesthouse's outdoor facilities offer a climbing wall as well as a small football pitch and an in-ground giant trampoline. The large sun terrace invites you to relax with a view into the Rosanin valley. In the region around the family-friendly little village of Schönfeld, there are numerous alpine pastures, walking paths and well-signposted hiking trails. The Familien- und Jugendgästehaus Schönfeld can only be booked as self-catering accommodation.

The spacious kitchen has various stainless steel appliances, such as an oven, a combi steamer, two deep fryers as well as a six-burner gas cooker, a four-plate electric cooker and a tilting frying pan. In addition, pots and crockery for a total of 262 people and a large dishwasher can be used. There is plenty of storage space as well as a cold room and a freezer room. There are four different dining rooms for group sizes of 40 to 100 people.
