Self-catering house Tauplitzalm

Summer in the mountains

The Jugendgästehaus Tauplitzalm is the ideal place for self-catering groups, clubs and holiday camps who want to spend time together in the mountains. The former 4-star hotel, completely renovated in 2019, is located at an altitude of 1.650 metres in the middle of the impressive mountain world of the Tauplitzalm and offers the best conditions for an independent and eventful stay.

The car-free Tauplitzalm is one of the most beautiful high plateaus in Austria and impresses with its unique natural scenery. Far from traffic and everyday stress, you can experience togetherness here, be active and enjoy the peace of the mountains.

Nature and activity right on your doorstep

Numerous hiking trails start right at the house and lead through the fascinating landscape of the Ausseerland. Whether relaxed strolls, long hikes or challenging mountain tours – around the Tauplitzalm, every group will find suitable ways to experience nature actively.

The region is particularly well known for its crystal-clear mountain lakes. The six Tauplitzalm lakes invite you to linger and make every hike a special experience. Mountain bikers, nature lovers and mountain sports fans will also get their money's worth in the varied surroundings.

Flexible catering for your group

As a self-catering group, you can use the fully equipped kitchen of the house and organise your meals exactly as you like. This way you stay flexible and can shape your daily schedule individually.

If you would rather concentrate on the activities, you can alternatively book a cook. They take care of the group's catering and make sure you can fully focus on your time together in the mountains.

Plenty of space for togetherness

The youth guest house offers spacious rooms as well as numerous common areas that create ideal conditions for groups. Whether shared meals, games evenings, meetings or simply cosy get-togethers – here you will find enough space for your shared activities.

The combination of comfortable accommodation, flexible catering and the unique location makes the house an ideal destination for club trips, group holidays and training camps.

Relaxing after an active day

After an eventful day in the mountains, the cosy rooms of the house invite you to relax. If you want to treat yourself to something special, you can use the wellness area with indoor pool (6 × 12 metres) and stone pine panorama sauna and let the day end in a relaxed atmosphere.

Whether a club trip, group holiday, training camp or a summer stay together – the Jugendgästehaus Tauplitzalm offers the ideal setting for unforgettable days in the mountains.
