Lakeventure Schloss Dankern

First a splash in the water, then straight into adventure: on our youth trip to Schloss Dankern, you don't have to choose between a beach holiday and a theme park! In the Emsland region, you'll find the perfect mix of relaxed hours at the beautiful Dankernsee lake and varied experiences around the historic moated castle.

 

On warm summer days, we head to the lake: swimming together, relaxing on the sandy beach and enjoying the holidays with new friends. On a pedalo trip, we'll also explore the lake from the water.

 

The Schloss Dankern theme park provides plenty of action. Admission is included throughout the whole camp! Between climbing adventures, fast slides and lots of play options, you'll discover your favourite attractions. We'll also visit the Topas leisure pool twice – so even more slide fun is already planned!

 

There's plenty going on away from the lake and theme park too: at the bowling evening you can show off your aim, relax together at the cinema and get to know the historic moated castle better on a guided castle tour. If you'd like to explore the area on two wheels, you can use the bike hire, which is also included, subject to availability.

 

Our camp leaders complement the excursions with a varied sports and leisure programme. In between, there's of course time to chat, get to know each other and chill. That way, your summer at Schloss Dankern becomes a mix of water, action and a really good time together – all the programme items mentioned here are already included in the trip price.

 

You'll stay in the Heidehäuser (heath houses), which you share with other participants. Living together, chatting and putting your feet up after an eventful day: your holiday house quickly becomes the meeting point for your little holiday community.

Fancy even more action? Then you can book additional activities: the high ropes course takes you up into the air for two hours, the two-hour water skiing session gets you out on the water, and Battle Kart gives you 15 minutes of driving fun. The high ropes course costs 16 €, water skiing 23 € and Battle Kart 28 €. It's up to you whether you want to take part – these activities are not included in the trip price.
