Pure adventure: our youth trip to Norway
This trip is just the thing for adventurers and real nature lovers! Instead of the fridge and games console, paddles, tents and campfires await you. In 4-person Canadian canoes, we travel along the Glomma, Norway's largest river, through untouched forest – true to the motto: back to basics. No electricity, no running water, no fixed sanitary facilities – but instead freedom, wilderness and loads of action.
Our tour starts in Hanestad and takes us all the way to Rena. Along the way, we carry everything we need right in the boat: tents, equipment and our mobile kitchen are always on board. Every day we discover new riverbanks, set up camp in the middle of nature and sleep under the wide starry sky. In the evenings we sit together round the crackling campfire and look back on the day's experiences.
With a bit of luck, we'll meet a moose or experience the magic of the northern lights. And don't worry: even if you've never sat in a canoe before, you're in exactly the right place. The tour is suitable for beginners as well as experienced paddlers.

It's almost 1,500 km from Bergisch Gladbach to our starting point in Hanestad. Our journey takes about 24 hours and we cross four different countries on the way. In Germany, our journey ends in Puttgarden. There we drive our coach onto the ferry towards Denmark. We also travel from Denmark to Sweden by ferry. Then our coach journey continues. Last stop: NORWAY! Hjertelig velkommen! Our adventure begins... During the coach journey, you can already quiz our camp leaders about Norway. During the coach breaks and on the two ferries you'll have plenty of opportunity to stretch your legs. Remember to bring enough food and drink for the journey. Information on whether the pick-up point you have chosen will be served – pick-up points with a surcharge are only served from 5 people – can then be found in the customer centre. You will receive the link to your personal customer centre with all the information by email with your booking confirmation. About 4 weeks before the trip starts, you will also find the pick-up information there. If your preferred departure point is not served, you will be assigned the nearest pick-up point.
When choosing our coach partners, we focus on quality and safety. All vehicles used are regularly serviced and are therefore in perfect technical and visual condition. The modern long-distance coaches are at least 3-star category and have reclining seats, air conditioning, WC, TV/DVD and plenty of legroom. Our long-standing partners stand out for their professional service and compliance with the statutory driving and rest times. With us, you'll reach your destination safely and comfortably!
