On our camps there is at least one camp leader for every 10 children or young people.
We have a zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination, radicalism, violence, drugs and xenophobia. Anyone who does not follow the rules can be excluded from the trip.
Our camp leaders are at least 18 years old and are at least 2 years older than the participants. All supervisors complete annual training in law, first aid, education and conflict resolution.
The Youth Protection Act applies: beer and wine are permitted from the age of 16, cigarettes from the age of 18. Spirits are generally forbidden. For anyone under 16, alcohol is completely off limits.
The safety of our participants is our highest priority. Our supervisors are available around the clock and make sure that all programme activities are carried out under safe conditions.
Clear rules of behaviour apply to all participants so that everyone can feel safe and comfortable. For minor breaches, our supervisors will first talk to the participant. In the case of serious or repeated breaches of the rules, the parents may be informed. In exceptional cases, we reserve the right to exclude participants from the trip early.
