Family holiday Tauplitzalm "Family & Friends"

 

 

Families and groups are warmly welcome at our new youth guesthouse Tauplitzalm. The former 4-star hotel, completely renovated in 2019, is located at 1.650 m directly in the Tauplitz ski area. No ski bus, no waiting: just strap on your skis or snowboard right at the house and off you go.

 

With its 43 km of slopes (blue: 18 km, red: 19 km, black: 6 km) and a height of up to 1.965 m, the Tauplitz is the largest single ski area in Styria. The heart of the ski area is the beautiful, car-free Tauplitzalm. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, young or old, there is something for everyone when it comes to slopes. The Mitterstein 8-person gondola, for example, offers sporty descents, while the wide, less steep slopes at Lawinenstein and Schneiderkogel are more for those who like to take it easy.

Freeride fans will also get their money's worth here. There are numerous lines of all lengths and with varying degrees of steepness. The terrain is very varied and leaves little to be desired. The Tauplitz is one of the most snow-sure areas in the Alps. Modern snowmaking systems also ensure that the winter season lasts until after Easter.

After the slopes, you can relax in your cosy, spacious rooms or use our wellness area with indoor pool (6 x 12 metres) and the Swiss pine panorama sauna. Let a wonderful day on the slopes come to an end at the bar or in the cosy Zirbenstube.
