Family holiday Tauplitzalm "Family & Friends"

Families and groups are very welcome at our new Jugendgästehaus Tauplitzalm. The former 4-star hotel, completely renovated in 2019, is located at 1,650 m right in the Tauplitz ski area. No ski bus, no waiting – simply strap on your skis or snowboard right at the house and off you go.

 

With 43 kilometres of slopes (blue: 18 km, red: 19 km, black: 6 km) up to an altitude of 1,965 m, Die Tauplitz is the largest single ski area in Styria. The heart of the ski area is the beautiful, car-free Tauplitzalm. Whether beginner or expert, young or old: there is something for everyone on the slopes. At the Mitterstein 8-seater gondola, for example, there are sporty runs, while the wide and less steep slopes on the Lawinenstein and Schneiderkogel are more for those who like to take it easy.

Freeride fans will also get their money's worth here. There are numerous lines of all lengths and gradients. The terrain is very varied and leaves little to be desired. Die Tauplitz is one of the most snow-sure areas in the Alps. Modern snowmaking also ensures that the winter season lasts until after Easter.

After a day on the slopes, you can relax in your cosy and spacious rooms or use our wellness area with indoor pool (6 x 12 metres) and the stone-pine panoramic sauna. End a wonderful day (on the slopes) at the bar or in the cosy Zirbenstube.
