The Familien- und Jugendgästehaus Schönfeld is the ideal place for groups, clubs and sporty stays in the mountains. Here, exercise, nature and community come together for a special time at an altitude of 1,750 metres.
The former 3-star hotel enjoys a stunning location on the border between Salzburg and Carinthia. The high altitude and the snow-sure Nock Mountains make the region a particularly reliable winter destination – ideal for active group stays in the snow.
Perfect conditions right at the house
Right at the house, a versatile practice area awaits you with a T-bar lift, an 80 m rope tow with button lifts and a 120 m magic carpet. This provides a generous beginners' and training area that offers ideal conditions for beginners, technique training or group activities.
Organised activities such as a slalom race or a ski rally provide extra variety. The equipment needed is provided, making for an easy, shared experience on the slopes. The offer is rounded off by a snow tubing run, which can be used free of charge after the lifts close and provides extra fun for the group.
Grosseck-Speiereck ski area
Just about 35 minutes away is the Grosseck-Speiereck ski area with around 50 kilometres of slopes. It offers extra options for varied ski days and is the ideal addition for groups who want to experience a wider range of slopes.

Travel
In principle, various arrival days are possible at the guesthouse. For individual bookings, travel to Schönfeld is usually independent. If you would like to travel with a larger group, we can provide you with an offer for coach travel through our partner coach company. When choosing our coach partners, we focus on quality and safety. All vehicles used are regularly serviced and are therefore in perfect technical and visual condition. The modern long-distance coaches are at least 3-star category and have reclining seats, air conditioning, WC, TV/DVD and plenty of legroom.
